The first question most people ask me is "Who are you and what are you doing in my bushes?"
This is usually followed by "How did you get the sheep to dance the Flamenco?"
Then they want
to know, what is Dreck?
DRECK (drek)-noun : slang : trash, especially inferior merchandise
ETYMOLOGY: German,
dirt, trash :Yiddish 'drek', excrement, both from Middle High German 'drec'
Hamish's Dreck was hammered into existence
in 2001 following a Buttershots bender and a desire to do something useful with a pile of leather that had sat in my closet
for two years. When I first began doing SCA and renfaires I only had a drawstring cloth pouch to hold things in that was very
annoying to get things out of. I searched for several years for a decent leather pouch that wouldn't break the bank with little
luck.
And so, I decided to see if I could make something that was functional, roomy, and held up well to running around
in funny clothes a lot. I debuted my creations in September of 2001, and it has grown and grown. I have come to be known as
a place to get many of the basic accessories for a reasonable price. I took it as my full time profession in 2007, and I continue
to keep prices as low as I can. I try to keep some of everything in stock, but some things may be subject to waiting for supplies.
If you have a special request, please allow extra time for it to be completed. If you have questions, please email me at granamyr@hotmail.com.

One day in the spring of '08 I found myself feeling sort of bad that my two boys had nothing to do or play with yet in the
back yard. As I thought of what to do for the boys, 2 & 4 years old, I came across a little plastic toy pirate ship in
their bedroom that had been one of their favorites and knew then that was my goal. Putting to good use a pile of lumber salvaged
from a construction job, the ship began to take shape and within a few days started to rise up within a cluster of back yard
trees. With my background in construction and carpentry, I added a creative eye as I cut, shaved, measured, and created until,
after almost two months, the finished product was ready for the kids ... and I called it a Pirate Play Ship. At that
point it was a no-brainer that I needed to develop this and turn it into something that I could offer for others.
That's how Pirate Play Ships was born and since July of '08, we've built custom play ships in ten states including TN, TX,
KY, AR, N.C., MS, KS, VA, FL, Washington and have projects on the calendar in California and Nevada. The focus for Pirate
Play Ships is on the kids and we love to be personally involved in the process with each family or organization. We
have worked with the Virginia Make-A-Wish Foundation and felt honored to have built something that a little boy will now enjoy
as he battles some very challenging times. We're proud of our loyal following and strive on each project to offer a
well-built, handcrafted product that is as stylish as it is rigid. We are just getting started and look forward to being
a part of the Pirate Dream for many kids and families all over the country.

Barbecue. Folks who think the word is a verb have a lesson to learn. Around here “barbecue”
is a noun. Just saying it makes our mouths water and conjures up memories of our best Southern cooks spending their days preparing
mouth-watering dishes that would simmer for hours.
Rest assured, spicy and succulent pork barbecue and ribs are
still a big part of our Southern legacy. But so are art, agriculture, history, the blues, country music, fishing, and cultural
diversity.
While you’re touring the highways and by-ways, on and off the beaten path, enjoying what many
declare is the BEST barbecue in the world, check out the area’s cornucopia of unique and fascinating museums.
Come along with us and sample the delightful flavor of rural West Tennessee north of Interstate 40.
Bozo's, pictured
above, has long been considered the grandaddy of them all. Founded in 1923, it's located in Mason, TN, population 1,089, in
Tipton county, about 35 miles east of Memphis. Afficianados recommend the pulled pork sandwich with vinegar slaw, along with
side orders of baked beans and potato salad.

Captain Rodney's Story
For over twenty years, I criss-crossed the Caribbean in search
of a pirate’s treasure. What I found instead were some of the most amazing flavours imaginable, and now I share them
with the world. On my return to the States I set out to combine these tastes into a collection of unique recipes that capture
the true flavour of the islands. Authentic tastes of the Caribbean, made using the Captain’s exacting all-natural recipes,
in small, open-pot batches, to ensure the best quality. Only the finest will do for the Captain’s table, so I use pure
cane sugar instead of corn syrup, locally grown fresh produce and the best spices and peppers of the Caribbean. Our very best,
for your table, you have my word on it.
